Cancer Claims Being Filed Due to Allergan BIOCELL® Breast Implants
Cancer claims are being filed due to the Allergan recall of BIOCELL® tissue expanders and breast implants, which have been associated with a rare cancer, anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL). These products have been linked to the development of ALCL, which is an uncommon type of cancer that can develop in the capsule around the implant. The Food and Drug Administration banned the tissue expanders and implants and recalled them worldwide.
